Hymns

Be thou my Vision

1. Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
2. Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, and I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
3. Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High king of heaven, my treasure Thou art.

For the Beauty of the Earth

1. For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies.
REF: Lord of all to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.
2. For the wonder of each hour,
Of the day and of the night,
Hill and vale, and tree and flower,
Sun and moon, and stars of light.
(Refrain)
3. For the joy of human love,
Brother, sister, parent, child,
Friends on earth and friends above,
For all gentle thoughts and mild.
(Refrain)
4. For the church, that evermore
Lifteth holy hands above,
Offering upon every shore
Her pure sacrifice of love.
(Refrain)
5. For Thyself, best Gift Divine.
To our race so freely given,
For that great, great love of Thine,
Peace on earth and joy in Heaven.
(Refrain)
O ruler of all.

Smile :-)

As you may have noticed. There's a new section on my side bar... ;-)

I am now engaged to Matt and we are working on getting everything ready for our wedding. (jumping up and down, very excited!!!) Our wedding date is May 13th. Exciting I know... We have been engaged since the first of March, but he was going out of town and I did not want to announce it with out him. Go figure. :) I will be blogging in more detail later on, about how things happened and what has been going on. The Lord has been so good to both of us. We have been working on wedding plans for just over two weeks and we already have so many things done. Church, pastor, dress, tuxes, bridesmaids, groomsmen, their outfits, and lots of other things underway. We are also shopping for a house to call our own. That is so much fun! I don't have time to go into detail, but I had to blog a little about it. :)

The one link if my fiancé's. The other one is ours, we don't have much on it yet, but we are working on it.

Hard to believe it is really a word....

mulligrubs (MUL-i-grubz) noun

1. Grumpiness; colic; low spirits.

2. An ill-tempered person.

It sounds like a word that you would read in a Dr.Seuss book, or in a fantasy book. :)
