Thanks so much for your input. I had not thought to ask for it, but love that you thought of giving it. :) the 1645 has a nice big yard, needs some curb appeal, some work done on the inside and maybe could be added to.
1608 has the same size yard as 1645, just a little more house taking up some of the yard. It would have to be fenced right away, because it is by a busier road. The house needs a little work, but not as much as 1645. We both like the fact that this one has more square footage.
505 is much smaller, but is adorable on the outside. I am not sure we would be able to fit though and if (when) we have another little one, it would be really tight, really fast. :)
1622 is around the same sq. footage and has a big enough yard, it is just more expensive. We are wanting to stay around 80,000. :) It would not need any work though, so that is appealing. :)
All in All, I think at this point we like the 1608 Cherry Blossom. We could go in pull the carpet out, paint and fence the yard. After that we could do other things to the house to make it a little more updated. :) We will see!!!
Anna, Sort of, we know that we need to stay in this area for at least another 5 years. We figured that buying a house would be wiser then renting for another 5 years. So we want to live in a house in this area for 5 or so years, then move to Republic (if God allows). :) Thanks for the prayers and thoughts.:)
How exciting to be looking for your first house! Since I love giving my opinion ;) and since you asked, here are my personal thoughts because I don't know what you guys even like! (I looked at all the houses before reading any comments)
Regan - too new, unless it's really well built, which many of the newer homes aren't. Newer homes aren't usually too much on character, plus it's out of your price range. :)
1645 - Too plain, it looks dark and has little windows. I like windows. :) Not much in the way of charm & character.
Euclid - lots of charm, but it looks small, although 2 bathrooms is a plus. You do want to have room in case you have one or two more babies in the next 5 years.
1608 - my favorite. I LOVE corner lots. We've lived on a corner lot for the last 18 years. It's just more private, you don't have neighbors right in your face. AND, that house looks like it has lots more windows. Remember, I like windows. :)
What are the kitchens like in all of those? That's one of the main things to like, because you spend so much time in that room. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and living rooms can all be painted and rearranged, but you can't do a whole lot with the kitchen. Make sure you have enough cabinets and eating space, etc. for your lifestyle and the amount of company that you have.
Have fun! I always thought it would be fun to be a realtor because I LOVE to look at houses. LOL!
Vicki, Thanks for the comment. I really like windows too and like 1608 is my favorite so far too. All of the kitchens are smaller, the one on Regan was nicely situated and the one at 1608 was one of the bigger of them and looked like it could be opened up and made a bit bigger. The way the living area is set up, it looks like it would be nice for homeschooling and having people over. :) We will see what happens.

Well since you posted, I'm going to pretend like you want my opinions or questions on them. :)
1645 Cherry Blossom Ave
Nice yard? Can it be added on to in future?
1608 Cherry Blossom Ave
It looks nice from outside. Is the yard as big as it appears? Could be nice for kiddos.
505 Euclid
Cute curb appeal. Is it smaller than the other houses?
1622 Regan
Wow. Much newer (and price-ier). Does it fit your personality?
FUN TIMES! House hunting!!I hope it goes well. May the Lord give you His wisdom. Love you! :)

Thanks again for the input.
Thanks also for the prayers. :)
So you're thinking about Carthage then instead of Republic/Springfield? That's too bad! :)
The 1608 Cherry Blossom home does look roomy and the curb appeal is great.
We'll be praying for you!
