Loving being a Mama

Kathryn and Natalya are doing great and getting so big. Natalya is 6 months old now and getting so big. She is almost too big for the 6-9 month old clothes. :-) Natalya is trying to sit up by herself and she rolls all over the place. She makes a ton of noise too. It is great!!! Kathryn is getting so much more talkative and speaks more clearly. She loves to be in the same room as I am and is into playing kitchen and baby dolls. It is so cute!!! The other day she came through the house and told me she would be right back, then she came back through and told me that she was back. She is adorable!!!

I love being a Mama!

Getting ready to Move. :)

I love organizing and going through things and deciding what to keep and what to get rid of. It is fun and makes me feel like I am making lots of progress.

We are closing on our new house this Thursday in the afternoon!!!! I am so excited!

I think we are going to try to get some things fixed up at the house and then paint. We will not be moving in until after we get the painting and fixing up done. We hope to be in the new house the middle to end of July. :-) It will be great!

Better get back to work now.

Two Years Ago

Two Year ago today we welcomed our beautiful daughter Kathryn into our lives and hearts. She has been a joy and I can not imagine life without her. The last two years have flown by. She is so full of life and happiness. She is our little bundle of energy. She wakes up in the morning ready to go and does not stop until you lay her down and tell her to go to sleep. Her little personality has been so much fun and reminds me of myself in so many different ways. :) I have loved every minute and look forward to many more years.

Beautiful Day

I am loving this weather.  I have my windows open and fans going, so that I can enjoy the weather. :)

Waiting, playing and enjoying down days

Hmmm. Waiting is not fun. We have put an offer on a house and we are now waiting to see what she is going to say. We heard back from the realtor today and the lady had a bit of a counter offer. We let her know what we could do and are now waiting again. :-)  I am so glad that I know with out a doubt that God is in control and He is going to make sure that what needs to happen happens. It is just hard to wait. :-)

On a happy and funny note. Today Kathryn and I made a tent under the table and watched Winnie the Pooh and ate our lunch underneath. It was a lot of fun!!! I am leaving it up for now, so that when we gets up and is ready to get going again, it will be there to play under. I remember when we were little we used to make tents in different rooms and spend the day under them. Doing school, playing games or whatever we could think to do. :-)

Today it has looked dreary all day, so I am not doing any big projects or getting a lot done. I am mostly spending the day playing with the girls, holding them and just enjoying the fact that nothing has to be done right this moment. :-) This is what I call a down day. :-)

Offer on House

We put an offer on a house yesterday. It is so exciting!!! The address is 914 Lillie Dr, it has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, huge living room, ok size kitchen and dining. Big garage, huge backyard that is already fenced. The house needs some updates, but only a few things that would need to be done right away.  We are just waiting to hear what they say about our offer. 

We will keep everyone updated.

2026 Maple

Kitchen-small. :) It is shared with the dining area and all together the space is 18X7. Do-able, but not great.

1645 Cherry Blossom

A little bigger then Maple and also shared with dining room. The measurements are 22X9. I did not like the way the kitchen and dining room are closed in, in this house.

1608 Cherry Blossom

The biggest kitchen. :) 11X13 and does not have to share dining area. There is a separate dining area that measures 11X13.6. :)  The kitchen is that Gold Yellow that used to be in, all the appliances and counters. That can be redone though at a later time.  (still my favorite). :)

505 Euclid

This kitchen is shared with the dining area and is a high traffic area. It measures 17X10. I am pretty sure this house is not a possibility. All in all too small.

Here is another house that we have looked at so far. My good friend left great thoughts and her opinion on the other houses and I love that idea. Sprinkler time

The other day when the weather was so nice, I let Kathryn go out into the yard and play in the sprinkler with Uncle Aaron. They were so much fun to watch and they had a fabulous time. :)

No more Milk....

We woke up and made our coffee as usual and started getting oatmeal ready for breakfast. I then opened the refrigerator door and no more milk. Not good... Since I found out that I was expecting Kathryn I have had to put milk or cream in my coffee, or I can not drink it.  What to do???? Think, think, think.  Light bulb. :) Epiphany. I had coffee ice cream in the freezer. So... I put a scoop of ice cream in my coffee and oh my. It is so good. I do believe that I am going to keep doing this. Um, um, good. 

Play-Do
