Working....

It has been hard to knit the last few months (7 to be exact). :-) Here in the last 2 weeks I have actually been able to knit and really enjoyed it. I just finished a little dress for my neice and I have all but a pom pom done on a sock monkey set for a photography friend. I love seeing the end results of my fun work. While working on the monkey set, I thought that a black, white and aqua/turquoise blue monkey set would be really cute, as well as one with pink, black and white. I think I am going to have to do that. :-) We will see how quickly I can get them knit up.

I also really want to make a few pairs of fingerless gloves for my site before fall, so we will see what I can get done.

I would love to hear what color gloves you all think would be good. Leave a comment with your color preference.

Sock Monkey Hat

I love this hat. It is probably one of my favorite to make. I was not sure I would like it that much at first, but once it was done....I am having a really hard time with the idea of letting someone else have it. :-) It is easy to clean and care of.

This little hat is so soft and cute. Great for keeping little heads warm and still having fun with their attire.

 

This hat is really soft too and stays on little heads really well. It is in neutral colors so that it can go with almost anything.

Vintage Owl Hat

This is one of my favorite hats of this year. I love the colors. It is made with acrylic for easy cleaning and care. It can be washed and dried in machine on gentle cycles. It will fit babies from Newborn to 3 Months. The eyes and beak are individually knit and then sewn on. I have also added dark brown buttons to the center of the eyes. All around great hat.

Great New Items!!!

Great new toddler hats added to my site this last week. This Brown Cabled Earflap Hat is adorable and would look great on both boys and girls. Cables on all four sides with a pom pom.

This owl hat is so much fun and I just love the colors. It is made with acrylic yarn, for easy care. Should fit a 6-12 year old. It has earflaps and braids from each earflap. The eyes are brown buttons.

These gloves are a honeycomb style pattern and are great for the colder weather. The first pair is a small size and the second pair medium-large. They are cozy!

I love this hat and I am tempted to keep it. :-) It is in a cream color, so it can go with anything. The pattern is simple, yet gives the hat depth. Also made with an acrylic for easy care.

Finished Project!

I finished this hat yesterday and just had to share a couple photos of it. I have not had my photographer take any photos yet, so it is not listed on my Etsy store. If someone is interested in it though, that can be done really easily. I just loved the colors and the way it turned out.
